Our goal is to achieve net-zero emissions by implementing green technologies and practices throughout our company. In addition, we are compliant with all local, state and/or federal environmental laws.
Solar Energy
As we expanded our Greenfield, Massachusetts facility in 2020, we simultaneously worked to lessen our carbon footprint. We installed 1,300 solar panels on the roof of our buildings, which immediately provided us with 30% of our electricity needs. Throughout the course of 2022, our solar array produced nearly 553 MWh of electricity for our business.

Water Reclamation
Our facility uses a large amount of water, so we implemented a water reclamation process that has allowed us to reduce our water usage by 96%.
The water reclamation system sends process water to a centrifuge, which separates the solid waste from the liquid. The liquid, which is a mixture of soap and water, is then returned to the closed loop system, the soap concentration is adjusted and the recycled liquid is reused.
In addition to reducing our water usage from 474,500 gallons per year to 2,000 gallons per year, we also lowered our soap consumption, decreasing our chemical footprint. In addition, this reclamation project greatly reduces our output to the municipal water sewer system.
